Jaimie Mathews, MA, LMFT, LPC
Jaimie’s passion is working with couples to build strong, Christian marriages. Jaimie believes in preparing couples for the joy, and challenges, of marriage through pre-marriage counseling. Jaimie is also dedicated to helping restore marriages and families which have been challenged and helping people find forgiveness in order to begin healing. Jaimie is trained in EMDR and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional to help those who currently struggle with PTSD and other trauma related disorders. Jaimie and her husband have been married for 18 years and they have 2 children. Throughout these years, Jaimie has experienced first-hand, the unique stresses that the men and women of the military, first responders, and their children face. Her experiences provide an invaluable knowledge base for helping active military, veterans, as well as current and retired first responders and their families, overcome these challenges and build healthy relationships.
Jaimie’s clinical and professional background includes:
- She graduated from The University of Louisiana at Monroe where she received her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
- She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Development from the University of California at Davis in 2004.
