Dr. Jonathan Arditti
Dr. Jonathan Arditti is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in law enforcement mental health and public safety evaluations. Licensed in both California and Texas, Dr. Arditti brings over a decade of experience working with city, county, and state agencies to provide pre-employment psychological screenings, tertiary evaluations, and second-opinion consultations.
He currently serves as a Supervising Psychologist with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Mental Evaluation Unit (MEU), where he leads the Systemwide Mental Assessment Response Team (SMART). In this role, he oversees field-based crisis interventions and collaborates with law enforcement and mental health partners to safely and effectively de-escalate high-risk situations. His firsthand experience in responding to critical incidents has shaped his understanding of the unique stressors that public safety professionals face.
Dr. Arditti is known for his calm, balanced approach and for integrating clinical insight with a strong understanding of field operations. He is deeply committed to providing clear, objective evaluations that align with each agency’s mission, values, and hiring standards.
