Pat Brydges has been a Registered Nurse and in Healthcare for over 40 years. Her interest in First Responders began early in her career as an Emergency Department Nurse and a Fireman Paramedic Instructor. She has been married to a police officer for 46 years, has a son who is a veteran and a police officer, and a daughter-in-law who was a police dispatcher. Her daughter, Dr Heather Twedell, is a First Responder psychologist. Pat’s work history and family connections to First Responders provides her a unique understanding of the stresses and dynamics this career has on the individual and his/her support system.

After a very active career in Healthcare, Pat has enjoyed re-creating her work environment to align with her passions of helping others. She believes in the importance of healthy First Responders and their families. As the Director of Operations for F1RST, Pat has responsibility for Scheduling, Billing, and Contracting and general operations. She is honored to be a member of the leadership team of F1RST.
