Ba'leigh burns, lpc

Ba’Leigh Burns is a licensed professional counselor who is both trauma-informed and culturally competent in her approach. Her clinical focus includes working with: Veterans and military families, First responders and law enforcement personnel, Children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, Families navigating displacement, loss, or cultural transition, and Individuals experiencing PTSD, anxiety, and crisis-related stress. Ba’Leigh has a strong foundation in trauma-informed care and a deep commitment to serving vulnerable populations. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas Christian University, where she double majored in Psychology and Anthropology. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Trauma from the University of Texas at Tyler. 
Ba’Leigh is CISM (Critical Incident Stress Management) certified and trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), offering specialized support for individuals recovering from acute and complex trauma. 
Her passion lies in creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals and families can heal, grow, and reclaim their stories.
