Dodi Jackson, MA, LPC

Dodi is an EMDR trained licensed professional counselor who specializes in the treatment of trauma and PTSD.  As a family member of a first responder, Dodi has a strong appreciation for the physical, emotional and relational strain that is often experienced by those who spend their lives serving and caring for others. 

Dodi’s clinical and professional background includes:

  • Bachelors in Education from Oklahoma State University
  • Masters in Professional Counseling from Amberton University
  • EMDR trained
  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
  • Taught in Garland and Frisco ISD’s for over 10 years

Dodi’s training and experience in treating trauma and PTSD combined with a personal and professional understanding of the first responder culture, have allowed her to help many firefighters, law enforcement officers, nurses and 911 dispatchers heal from personal and occupational traumas, improve interpersonal relationships, and develop resiliency to aid in coping with the unique stressors faced by first responders.
