Katie Miller, MS, LPC

Katie Miller is a dedicated and experienced licensed professional counselor with a passion for helping individuals of all ages navigate the complex journey of healing from trauma.  Katie has a holistic approach to therapy and integrates her expertise in evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Polyvagal Theory, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to meet the unique needs of each client.  Katie has successfully pioneered a DBT group for high school girls at risk for sex trafficking, providing a safe and supportive environment for healing and empowerment.  Currently, Katie is working towards a certification in EMDR and continues to expand her skill set to better serve her clients.  Her humanistic approach to therapy emphasizes the importance of meeting clients where they are on their journey and empowering them to take control of their own healing process.  In addition to her clinical work, Katie is a registered yoga instructor with advanced training in trauma-informed yoga.

Leveraging her expertise in both the mental health and yoga fields, she offers integrated cognitive and somatic yoga therapy classes, providing clients with a holistic approach to healing that addresses the mind, body and spirit.
