Becca Lewis is a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate, supervised by Dr. Lisa Grubbs, LPC-S. She has extensive experience in providing therapy to couples and children from the ages of 5 to adolescence. She has a vast array of experience that was obtained from working in the educational field and living on a military base for 6 years. Becca gained an appreciation for working with those that experience PTSD and other emotional struggles. Becca’s life and work experience fuels her passion to work with those experiencing overwhelming emotions and has a heart for working with families and First Responders.
Becca’s clinical and professional background includes:
- Bachelor of Science in Education – Cameron University in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma
- Master of Science in Counseling – Angelo State University
- Master of Educational Leadership – Dallas Baptist University
- Educational field as a teacher and School Counselor for 18 years.
- Group therapist for clients that are battling suicidal ideation or substance abuse.
Becca believes that we grow through what we go through! Using a variety of methods, she can help you discover your fullest potential. Her philosophy is that therapy should be flexible and adapt to what works best for each individual. She has had a dream to guide others in becoming their best selves, and can’t wait to join you on your journey!
