Trent Davis, MA, LPC-A

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

Supervised by Michelle Rachui, LPC-S

Trent Davis, MA, LPC-A is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. As a first responder for over 26 years, Trent has had a front-row seat to witnessing the effects of the trauma and struggles that many people in the community face every day. He also experienced the mental and physical strain the career takes on those committed to the profession. As a counselor, he has transformed his unique experience to help others through therapy. Trent believes that therapy is about meeting the client where they are and working with individuals collaboratively in a non-judgmental space. It is about becoming self-aware and working hard to create the best version of yourself. It is about gaining some control back and feeling empowered to reach your goals.

Trent has experience working with adults and adolescents age 10+ dealing with trauma, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, grief, men’s issues, life adjustments, addiction, anger, and assertiveness. Through various approaches, he helps clients obtain the necessary tools to reach the goals they have for themselves. As a Christian counselor, he would like to collaborate with you to get back on a meaningful path and move to the center of God’s purpose for your life.

He is trained in EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and SYMBIS pre- marriage counseling. Trent holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University and a Master of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
Trent has been married for 14 years to the love of his life and his best friend. He is a “girl dad” of three beautiful girls who own his heart and keep him busy. He loves traveling, watching sports, and spending time with his family and friends.
